This isn't your usual fundraiser.

By booking tickets for or attending Melodie's Walk, including the daytime walk and/or the evening event at the Alice Lisle Pub (the "Event"), I confirm that I am the lead booker for this booking, that I am 18 years of age or over, and that I am agreeing to this disclaimer on behalf of myself and all members of my party, including any children or young people under 18. I acknowledge and agree to the following: Melodie's Walk is a public charity event which may include a 14-mile countryside walk, live music, dancing, alcohol and temporary entertainment equipment. Participation in the walk involves inherent risks associated with outdoor countryside activities, including uneven ground, mud, stiles, road crossings, livestock, weather conditions, slips, trips, falls, injury, illness or fatigue. Optional activities at the Event may include a bouncy castle, bucking bronco and similar attractions, which involve inherent risks. Participation in these activities is entirely optional and undertaken at the participant's own risk. Certain activities and attractions are provided and operated by independent third-party suppliers, who are responsible for the safe operation, supervision and insurance of their equipment. I confirm that I am responsible for the supervision, behaviour and wellbeing of any under-18s included in my booking at all times. I confirm that all participants are physically fit to take part in the Event as applicable, and that each participant is responsible for their own wellbeing, including suitable clothing, footwear, food, water and any medication they may require. I agree that all members of my party will follow any reasonable instructions given by event organisers, venue staff and third-party operators. Dogs may accompany participants on the walk at the owner's discretion. Dogs may be off the lead where safe and appropriate, but must be kept under close control at all times and placed back on a lead when required (for example near livestock, wildlife, roads or other walkers). Owners are fully responsible for the behaviour, welfare and actions of their dog throughout the Event. The event organisers and volunteers are not medical professionals. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the event organisers, volunteers and sponsors are not liable for any loss, damage or injury arising from attendance or participation in the Event, except where such liability cannot be excluded under English law (including death or personal injury caused by negligence). Photography and video recording will take place during the Event. I understand that I and members of my party may appear incidentally in images or footage, which may be used for promotional, fundraising and marketing purposes relating to Melodie's Walk and its supported causes. This disclaimer is governed by English law. If any part of this disclaimer is found to be unenforceable, the remaining sections shall continue in full force and effect.
